"Drum sound rises on the air, its throb, my heart. A voice inside the beat says: I know you're tired, but come. This is the way." Rumi
I am Auntie Matter - Keeper of The PULSE. Trance Drumming produces transformational and life changing results. States of rapture and elation, connection with the Divine, healing and stress relief, disconnection from Time and expanded Unified Field Awareness are regularly experienced. Based on my practice of the Tantric Yoga of ANAHATA-NAD "Spontaneously Arising Sound", I focus energy on transmitting and manifesting "Trance Rhythm" in a way that is accessible & joyous for everyone involved, whether they be listeners or trance dancers or dance performers. Enticing Middle Eastern and World Beat rhythm patterns interweave in a seamless flow that will tranport you to other realms.
Band History:
AUNTIE MATTER (aka Sondra Slade) Percussionist: has studied & performed music her whole life, including studying new music with John Cage and performing with Bill Russo and his Rock Opera company in Chicago. Sister mrs favour
Its early days for this radio concept but its growing nicely, and we think it has great potential to produce something really diverse and interesting.
The eventual aim is to have all our content created within, so all shows, music, interviews, debates etc...the basic tools to do it are all here!!
Anyway, we hope you like what you see and hear on these pages, and if you'd like to get involved please feel free...
